US Navy to Bring Giant Glacier from Antarctica to end Southern California Drought

The United States Navy today announced its plans to fetch a giant glacier from Antarctica in order to effectively end the drought which has engulfed Southern California. This move is reportedly believed to have been endorsed by President Obama himself and is said to be his first and last major decision before quitting office.

We spoke to a government insider for more information, “Well the whole of Southern California is reeling under drought, which is causing immense hardship to people. After alternatives like tapping into underground water table or transporting water from other areas were discarded as they were too simple and effective, the idea of invading Antarctica and bringing home a giant glacier took root. The Navy will very soon dispatch its largest aircraft carriers and used cutting edge technologies to cut the iceberg and drag it all the way to American shores, hopefully before melting. Actually Mr. Obama was very saddened that he hadn’t sent Armed forces on any fruitless endeavor during his regime so this is his way of making up.”

Many citizens have opposed the idea of asking the Navy to be involved but have proposed making a dream team of Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky and blue whales who would bring back the glacier almost overnight. Earlier Ryan Lochte was also supposed to have been included but was later dropped after fears of him getting robbed by penguins emerged.
