A neo-Nazi radical group has adopted the name White Lives Matter (#WLM) due to excessive amounts of negative press.  They are hoping the new name will force the news media, Black Lives Matter (#BLM) and Antifa groups to show them the same level of respect the Black Lives Matter group received during their violent demonstrations.  A spokesperson for the group said, “We’ve all seen and heard about #BLM, now it’s time to hear about #WLM.  We deserve our fair share of time in the media and if #BLM isn’t racist, then #WLM shouldn’t be considered racist either.”

Local police agree that if the neo-Nazis were called White Lives Matter, then they would be allowed to demonstrate without interference.  An officer who wished to remain anonymous said, “Nobody even knows why the Nazis are here.  We are just scared because we think Hitler when we see a swastika.  If they were #WLM, we wouldn’t be worried about them anymore and #BLM and Antifa would be forced to leave them alone.”

“What’s in a name?”  Contrary to Shakepear’s Juliet’s belief, a lot.  Adopting the White Lives Matter name can possibly change the way people feel about the neo-Nazi group and their actions. Only time will tell if the primarily white Antifa group will leave the White Lives Matter group alone.
