During the holiday season, there’s no better way to spend those cold winter nights than curled up by a nice warm fireplace with that special person in your life. The recent shift in the weather, however, has led to what some are calling the most chaotic Christmas on record. Global warming is the suspected cause of the lack of a White Christmas but one source, in particular, has stood out. The perpetual harvesting of Christmas trees was noted as one of the root causes of global climate change.

So what does this mean for Christmas loving countries around the world? Simple, it means no more Saint Nick if you want to save the planet.  Sure, to many Christmas is that time of year for sipping egg nog under the mistletoe but for most it’s having to deal with obnoxious distant relatives machine gunning personal questions at you and letting their kids ruin your furniture.
