After Being Unable to Find Work, Lawyer Sues Himself

Chicago: A local lawyer and a seasoned ambulance chaser today announced his intention of suing himself. He was completely frustrated by his failure of not being able to find any work and pinned the sole blame on himself.

We spoke to him earlier today, “I for so many days was sitting idle with no real work on my plate. Apparently the quarrels between humans in my area had reached an all time low and to my horror it felt as if people would start to lead their lives harmoniously. Gone were the days when I used to file multi-million dollar lawsuits just because someone fancied it. I was also concerned that if I left the legal profession then I would have to do something constructive for the society. That’s when the idea of suing myself for all my faults struck. I was finally convinced that I and not the society or the government was responsible for what was wrong with me and was frankly outraged. I would now be fighting the case against me and would ask the state to pay for the legal fees incurred as I frankly can’t afford them.”

The lawyer apparently has the full support of his whole family after they were tired of him asking them to hire him for drawing up their wills. He also wanted to draw up the will of a 1 month old toddler whose only worldly possessions included a pacifier and a sack of baby food.
