Pet health and biology is a tough topic for most pet owners. They’re lucky if they can even understand what the vet explains to them half of the time. Well, get ready to be even more confused – a local pet owner, Greg G. Gaüch, has just been informed that his pet cat, known simply as “King Mouse Destroyer III, Heir to Mouse Destroyer Throne, otherwise known as Greg 2,” is allergic to him.
“It certainly came as a surprise to me,” Gaüch said. “I took Greg 2 into the vet because he was sneezing, and I thought maybe he has a cold or something. Can cats get colds? I don’t even know. Anyway, I took him to the vet and the vet performed tests on Greg 2 and—well, it was certainly a surprise.”
Gaüch explains that his vet told him that pets can grow intolerant to different things in their environment, similar to how some people suddenly become allergic to peanuts, lactose, the idea of loss, or gluten.
When Gaüch asked how he could make life better for his pet, his vet reportedly said, “Look man, I don’t even know, this is crazy, just like, I dunno, shed less?” and then he shrugged his shoulders.
