A local boy has been hospitalized after he reportedly managed to bite off his own ear. How he accomplished this incredible feat is still undetermined. In the meantime, doctors have begun a painful ear reconstruction surgery.

We spoke to the doctor treating him, “Well, I have heard the phrases, ‘giving an earful,’ and, ‘chewing one’s ear off,’ but have never come across anyone biting an ear off, especially his own! I initially thought he was chewing his own ear off by talking too much with himself, so I initially recommended a psychiatrist, but later found out the true nature of the case. Guess you never run out of surprises.”

We later even managed to have a chat with his mom, “He actually called me at the office saying that he has bitten his ear off but I didn’t believe him as he usually calls twice a day claiming all sorts of things like Obama is an alien or Trump/Hillary/Sanders (‘any name you want’) would be the next president. It was only later when I came home that I discovered the mess.”

The boy has started receiving attention from his classmates, especially the cute girl he has a crush on as apparently biting one’s ear off is considered cool.  It seems as though everyone is now trying to bite off their own ear.
