In what appears to be a hostile takeover, online shopping mogul, Amazon, is set to purchase the United States Postal Service. In a continuing downward trend, the government has been unable to keep pace with the public’s demand for faster, better service.
In addition to Amazon’s great customer service, everyone will now receive parcels in no more than 2 days (a feature that was originally reserved for Prime customers). Don’t worry though, Prime customers will be offered a special feature not available to other consumers: a drone delivery option.
As we anticipate this transition with excitement, it’s important to remember that this takeover impacts more than simple parcel delivery. All of our daily mail will arrive in record speed, which means less float time for checks and faster bill collection.
